On Oct 17, 2017, three days short of 10 years of building, Glasair lll C-GKVE flew for the first time. The kit was purchased in California from the original owner who started the build in 2003. The horizontal stabilizer and elevators were completed and the wing ribs were started. Except for some glass panel limits set incorrectly the plane flew without incident.
