Flap actuation is much easier with this “saw tooth” ratchet plate, especially 35° and 50° position.

Note: Glasair II & III ratchet plates are fabricated in this fashion. Only the 0° position is a full notch which keeps the flaps up if desired while parked. Glasair I builders may benefit by making this modification.
