I started out by using the supplied template to cut out a cardboard firewall. It did not come close to fitting. I started all over but this time just got a big piece of cardboard and held it up against the front of the fuselage shells. I then traced the outline of the shells onto the cardboard and stared from there. It proved to be much faster and more accurate. The firewall fit came out nice.
