Glasair Service Bulletin 40 suggested that Glasair I RG builders relocate the hydraulic pressure gauge sensing point from the "up" (gear retraction) hydraulic pressure line to the "down" (gear extension) hydraulic line (as is done on the Glasair II RG and III aircraft) so that confirmation of gear down and locked can more accurately be obtained. We are offering this shuttle valve option kit for Glasair I RG, II RG , or III, builders who would like to monitor the hydraulic pressure in both the ''up" and "down" line.
