GLASTAR/SPORTSMAN DOOR LATCH RETROFIT

Glasair Aviation has achieved a significant improvement in the installation and functioning of the latching mechanism. Kit P/N 940-07100-01 contains only the prefabricated door dogs. Kit P/N 940-07100-03 contains the new stronger push rods, clevis ends, thicker material for the latches, nylon rod and other items that will greatly improve the performance of (and simplify the installation if not yet installed) of the door latching on your GlaStar or Sportsman aircraft. The -03 kit does not include the door dogs. Read through these instructions fully before attempting to retrofit your doors. If you are retrofitting an existing GlaStar installation, you will need to decide if you want to retrofit only the pushrods and latches or do the entire modification and replace your existing dogs as well.
